Call to Action

Use a Call to Action to direct visitors to the next important step. Add at least one button and use specific, descriptive button text so visitors know where each link will take them. A short title and supporting content can also be added when the action needs more context.

This is a demo of the Call to Action Block with different kinds of links on the buttons.

• Read More: This demonstrates the button text defaulting to ‘Read More’ when no Link Text is provided for the link.
• Blank Link: This is a link with a value of ‘#’ in the URL field. This should never be used in actual content and is more of a placeholder to review button designs.
• Hashed/ID Link: This is a link with a hash ID as its URL, and is used to direct to a specific point in a page. This button for example has a hash value of #button-anchor, which means clicking it will direct one to the section on a page with an ID of ‘button-anchor’.
• External Same Tab: URL of an external website which is navigated to within the same tab. This is done by unchecking the ‘Open in a new tab’ checkbox.
• External New Tab: URL of an external website which opens in a new tab. This is done by checking the ‘Open in a new tab’ checkbox.
